Supermarine S6B Mug

The S6B, designed by R. J. Mitchell, won the 1931 Schneider Trophy outright, and seventeen days later broke the World Air Speed Record. Its engine would later be developed into the Rolls Royce Griffon. Today the S6B is on display at the Science Museum in London together with the Schneider trophy.
